Thank you for visiting my website! I am an Assistant Professor in Computational Social Science at the Political Science department of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). I received my PhD at the Amsterdam School for Social Science Research in 2021. Before joining the UvA, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the KU Leuven in Belgium.

My research is on business and finance, corporate elites and power, and social networks. For media, I frequently give commentaries and write opinion pieces about elites, corporate power, conspiracy theories, and the super-rich.

I am also the Lecturer at the BSc program in Computational Social Science at the UvA, where I lead the educational track that oversees student engagement with external partners.

I serve as a coordinator at the Social & Behavioral Data Science Center of the UvA, where I consult social scientists in utilizing data science methods, oversee community development, and coordinate funding.
